What an arse. I was volunteering at a senior PGA event a few years ago when a golfer (I forget who...) hit a small bird with his tee shot. But he didn't even see the bird let alone aim for it. He felt horrible about it. A freak accident. But this story is sickening.

Steven told me about this story, and I was sickened. Where are the values in our society today? Then, people are killing other humans and not flinching, so it's not surprising that they'd kill an innocent animal and not blink. Makes me think that scientists saying that humans are the most intelligent species on the planet are being a bit optimistic...
