So, yesterday was sooooo good. We went to my sisters house for a mothers day dinner. It was my husband and I, my sister and her hubby (who did the cooking) and my Mom and Dad. Well, Given the situation here at home, I had no money to get my mother a gift. Here is the good part......I colored my mother a care bear picture from a coloring book, and colored it like a two year old would, signed my name all backwards etc, picked a bunch of weeds that would look like flowers to a child, took my daughters little pink piggy bank with a bunch of pennies in it and the topper was, I dressed like a kid just learning to do it for herself and put my hair in pig tails. When I got there I even talked like a two year old saying " I picked flowers for you mommy and I didn't even go in da road." My mom laughed and smiled more than I have ever seen her do. She thanked me when I left for the best mothers day ever. Thought ya'll would get a kick outta my mothers day. Hope everyone had a great day!
